Fun, safe, non-toxic, made in Germany. Great for grasping, mouthing, even shaking like a rattle. We were worried he might get pinched between the colored segments, but somehow it just doesn't create a a hazard at all.

This was the first toy I bought my son. We gave it to him as soon as he started showing the ability to grasp. This toy was used as a grasping toy and a rattle. When the infant is so young, he likes to just look at his hand holding something and he looks at the colors and notices that the blue rings move around. It makes a nice sound when it is shaken. It's not too heavy and it is easy to hold.
I know it sounds boring, but my son loved this ring!
I would recommend getting one for a newborn and just waiting until they start showing signs of reaching out for things and trying to touch or grab things.
The product description recommends for 6 months to 2 years. I would say 1 month to 1 year.
The toy is very well made. Those colored bits are all strung together with an elastic cord so the colored part of the ring is pliable and bends.
My son did eventually mouth and gnaw on the ring when he was older. It's a great toy and would also make a nice gift.

For some reason, this toy captivates our daughter - she does mouth it a lot (hence I am glad it is non toxic - as I think every infant toy should be!) but she also just likes to turn it over in her hands, look at the colors, play with the rings. Who would have thought something so simple would be so intriguing but it works!

I bought this for my older son when we were caught at a mall without any activities in my bag. It has been a great distractor & teether for 2 babies now - and I see no signs that it will give out anytime soon! We love HaBa products!!!

My daughter loved this teether since she was 4 months old. It was the first toy she was able to transfer from one hand to the next -- a big milestone as any mom will tell you! It was a favorite for a long time. She's a year old now, and the Haba Ring is still in great shape after much abuse (7 teeth by 9 months!). Would highly recommend this... I include it in all my shower gifts.

My 4 month old son loves this toy. He's not teething yet, but loves to chew on it and shake it. This was the first toy he would hold onto. I recommend this kringelring or another HABA toy in which there are many of this style to choose from. I feel much better knowing its made in Germany and is completely non-toxic and safe. I will only buy natural products after doing much research. Keep your babies safe and buy quality products and not cheap alternatives.

He is quite attached to this toy and never gets bored with it.
This is better than any other toys that I've bought for him...including Whoozit! Because it is made out of wood and painted with latex paint I felt safe giving it to him--he puts everything into his mouth these days.

I think this is a perfect toy for learning hand-eye coordination and improving fine motor skill.

I didn't realize the colored pieces were not solid, and it's hard to tell from the photos. They aren't loose enough to pinch little fingers, but still add an additional element to the toy. The sound is nice when rattled, and the colors are bright and cheery. The simple design is perfect for my baby who gets over stimulated eaily. It's pleasant sound has a calming effect. This is the best little teether I've found.

My little guy loves this toy. You can actually see little marks where the wood has depressed to his teething. The colors are strung together with an elastic band, And I was concerned at first of the quality and if the colored bars could pinch his skin, but It is holding up and hasn't pinched me or him yet.

I've become a big fan of Haba toys lately. With all the stuff made in China its nice to see some quality made toys! This is an adorable little teether that has some added little rings that make it a cute jingly noise...but nothing overly loud & annoying. Easy to clean and maintain - durable and a kids favorite...you can't go wrong!

Why even consider giving your baby a plastic (and possibly toxic) teething ring, when a wonderful product like this is available from HABA. I gave this to my 7 month old niece for Christmas and its been her favorite since. Highly recommend.

I gave this toy to my 3 month old and for the last two and a half months it has been his favorite grasping and teething toy. He will reject any plastic or iced teether, but loves to gnaw on this one. He also really enjoys shaking it as the blue rings will rattle. It is a very attractive toy and so far seems durable (I have tried pulling pretty hard at the segments and they really hardly move.) This is definitely our favorite toy at 5 months and I would recommend it to anyone with a baby.

My son loves this ring. He can shake it and keep a good grip on it when chewing on it. He doesn't like the plastic teething rings so this is perfect. It is even quiet enough for church.

My 5 month old loves to rattle and eat this toy. She is able to hold it well and likes the sound it makes. She has tossed it on our wood floor several times and it seems well made. Oh, and it doesn't hurt her when she smacks herself with it.

My baby girl "played" with this toy today for the first time while I was bathing her. She HATES pacifiers, bottles, or any plastic thing in her mouth. I wanted to introduce wood slowly so that once she starts teething, she can chew on something. She loved it. She held it with her tiny fingers, and I helped her chew on it. Slightly big to chew on for this age, but still wonderful. Very safe and durable toy.

My 3 1/2 month old son loves this, and so do I. It's just the right size for him to grasp and practice putting in his mouth, as well as shake to make the rings rattle. The noise is just right too- enough to keep him interested, but not obnoxious to the adults in the room. Highly recommended.

You don't always want your kid gnawing on plastic and this is a good alternative. It is well made and colorful, and the different textures, sounds, colors, and movement really keep a baby entertained. The beads that form the rainbow portion of the ring are sort of strung on the ring instead of glued solid. Just one more element for entertainment.

This is a great toy that doesn't seem to get old. My little one has had it since he was about 5 mths old. As he has gotten older he is enjoying it more. Great to chew on and rattle around. Bright colors and simple. Not plastic and is safe!! Highly recommend.

This toy keeps my baby very entertained, especially when he's in the car! He loves to shake it and make the rings rattle, it's a very pleasant sound. It's colorful and VERY well made. I feel comfortable letting my baby chew on the wood and it is a snap to clean! What a wonderful way to get introduced to the world of HABA toys! I highly recommend it =)

My daughter and I really enjoy the Kringelring. Made of beech wood and non-toxic finishes, I feel safe allowing my daughter to put it in her mouth. I thought the gaps between the wood might pose a pinching hazard, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Pretty nice quality- I could see it lasting through multiple children. The colors are attractive and might help later in color recognition. I will be purchasing more HABA toys.

Soooo pretty to look at! It's not obvious from looking at the picture, but the rainbow half of this rattle is linked together and can bend and twist a little. This is one of those simple toys that is durable enough to last into toddlerhood and be fondly remembered by your child. Perfect size for little hands - our almost 4 month old has no trouble hanging on to it.

My son loved this toy ever since he was able to grasp things. It is made of beachwood and seems very safe. It makes a nice clicking sound when rattled from the blue rings sliding around but it's also a nice teething toy. It is so simple yet it still gets more play than our learning toys with all the pull-this push-that doohickies on them.

This toy is perfectly designed for grasping by little fingers and for biting. Even though it is simple, it is the best rattle out there and holds my daughters attention for ten minutes at a time. It also gives me some piece of mind that she is not putting plastic in her mouth.

This is a great rattle. It took my son awhile to get the hang of it, but once he could grasp it, this rattle became his favorite. And I like that he can't hurt himself with it like he can with some of the other Haba rattles.

I bought this for my 6 month old son for Christmas for his stocking and I love it!!!!! He is my third child and this is the most I have ever seen any of my children play with one single baby toy. He loves this the most out of all his presents and it is constantly in his hand. It is easy for him to hold, pick up, and chew on. A must-have baby toy and I definitely wish I had this when my other kids were babies!

I had to leave a review about this deceptively effective teether ring. We got this for a gift for my fourth daughter and lo and behold, she loves it. While she'll accept other toys, this is by far her favorite. The simple design, durable wood construction, and bright colors make it one of my favorites, too.

Our 6 month old has played with this toy since she was a newborn and we love it! It's so durable, she loves teething on the wood and the rattle sound is very pleasing. The colors are so bright and she pounces on it each time. I can wear it as a bracelet if I need a hand free. Overall one of the best baby toys I ever bought. Wish I had just gone with this a lot sooner rather than spent my money on other toys.

Bought this for my child when an infant. My hubby thought it was dumb - just a ring. But my kid proved him wrong - one of his favorite infant toys!!!!!!! Simple, yet perfect. Perfect size for little hands to hold, bright colors, rings make just enough noise (without driving mom & dad batty), and SAFE! HABA is a trusted brand in our house.

I love the quality of this toy. The colors are so bright and eye catching. My baby boy starting playing with this when he was about 5 months old, he really likes it a lot. That being said he likes his other 3$ rattle just as much, but I like this one a lot better.

I was very excited to buy this toy for my teething 8-month-old daughter as opposed to a plastic teether. But she doesn't seem to be as excited about it as I was. She doesn't really try to teethe on it very much. She basically picks it up and shakes it around, then throws it. I do very much like the quality of this toy - it seems like it will last for years and years. I will definitely buy Haba toys again for her.

This is a great product for babies 3-7 months old who is starting to learn to grab and needs something to chew on for teething pain. We also have plastic teething stuff, but it is nice to offer a safer and more attractive alternative.

This is a beautiful toy. I don't have to worry about the paints used and I love that it isn't plastic. The white part is inflexible while the colored section is. The rattle sound is gentle and my four-month-old daughter likes to swing the toy back and forth. Plus it has a great name! :) However, I was hoping it would be a good chew toy and it hasn't been. It's a good size for grabbing but a little big (diameter of ring and diameter of the wood) to stick in her mouth comfortably. It's a five-star rattle and a three-star teether.

I purchased this for my 3 month old son and it is great for him, although he's too young to use it for teething he loves the sound the loose rings make while I shake it and he is fascinated by the colors. We'll play with this for at least 30 minutes. The problem is my 3 year old thought she'd use it for teething and with one bite dented in the wood significantly (I got it away from her before she could splinter the wood). There is also a possibility of the baby pinching his fingers in it as the colored wood parts do pull apart and I can't help but wonder just how strong the string holding them together is. The colored pieces of wood are movable and can be twisted into shapes which really interests my son- this does pose a bigger problem of being pinched but so far it hasn't been a problem yet.
While is is beautiful and clearly a much better option than plastic it's not the perfect teether in my opinion.

This is a high-quality, attractive teether. The only thing that worries me is that the small colored pieces are a potential pinching hazard. They're flexible and whenever they flex back together, if baby's lip or skin happens to be in one of the small openings...ouch.

I was really anxious to purchase this toy since it had so many good reviews. It looks really appealing, very colorful and basic but fun. However my son has had it for 2 months and has shown minimal interest in it. He'll hold it for a max of 10 seconds before either throwing it or just dropping it to grab something else, even from the first time he saw it. I purchased it mainly for teething purposes and thought it would also be a good rattle that wouldn't drive me crazy with a loud jingle. I think this might work well as a teether for babies who prefer a hard surface to chew on. I will say that it is very well-made, a smooth, nicely finished wood with natural-looking but bright paint. This toy would last through multiple children.

I bought this thinking it would be great for our 4 month old to bang around and chew on since she is teething early. She definitely likes it as a rattle (tons of fun when you slip it on her wrist). But as a teether its a little too thick. Very durable, colorful toy that will last forever...just serving a different purpose than what i originally intended.

Yes, my baby didn't like it, he prefers more Sassy Talk & Fold Phone and Sophie the teether. I was really anxious to purchase this Kringelring toy, It looks really nice and light, very colorful , a little thick. However my son has had it for 5 months and has shown no interest at all. He will hold it for a few seconds before throwing it away. But to say the truth it is very well-made, colorful, and nicely finished wood with natural material.
