I love the wood smell of the eco-plastic used to make the toy and all the simple mechanical features. Our little truck driver loves the big dumping lever and pull-open cab. Durable for sand or snow and was a treat to have reduced packaging, which was only a little tray thingy which recycles quickly.

Got this truck for our toddler girl for the beach and she loves it! Plays with it at home as well as outside. It is eco friendly, usa made - durable, well constructed - easy to operate. We got the Sprig bucket and shovel for her sandbox and she uses them to fill this truck. She loves it and we love Sprig.

We are looking for an alternative to toxic China-made toys. This is just the thing! My kids love it and we will surely be purchasing more in the line.

My little boy is a truck expert and this truck is one of the few to pass muster. The back dumps, it has a door that opens and the front cab tilts open. This is very important to my son who wants everything to "work."
Also, the wheels are very high quality and they go on carpet, floor, you name it. It made me do a double take because I thought it was operating on batteries for a second. Until my son said, no ,he just rolled it.

Highly recommended and such a great price!

I like the fact this toy is Eco-friendly and durable. The quality is great for the price. My son is 15 months old and loves his new truck. I know he will get lots of use out of this truck over the next few years. We plan to purchase the other trucks from this set as well.

I bought this truck for my 2 3/4 yo son to play with outside. It's held up well, has a lot of features, and he really enjoys it. The first thing he said though, was, "Where's the driver?" These trucks don't come with drivers even though there is a place for them to be inserted. Eco-friendly and inexpensive! Sprig Toys says this is in the works, but it seems odd given that they have other "people" with some different vehicles

My 3 1/2 year old grandson had a great time playing with this dump truck (and with the matching excavator) in both the sand box and our 'dirt' box when he came for a visit last week. He loved playing with them and he is the one whose opinion counts!

4. I got it on here for $10, which is an awesome price for this truck!

This line of little trucks and excavators is just what I was looking for. I wanted something DURABLE, EASY TO USE, and STURDY. This was ALL of those things. The color is a recycled look which I don't mind (a more mustard/speckled yellow). There is a slide under the bucket that is a lock so it can or can't be lifted to dump out. The back door also latches open or shut. It's very easy to use and play with. I love it!

My 1 year old grandson love this truck. He enjoys moving the sand to his castle in his new dump truck. And my daughter appreciates that it is made of recycled materials. She said it doesn't even smell plastic!

This truck moves fast with a push, has a big capacity bed and the handle makes it easy for a small child to run and push it around. Since it has a rod that has to be pushed to release the bed to dump or to lock it back in place for transporting a load, the child has to be older and stronger or have help to work the dump mechanism. Detailed, realistic, great for a sandbox or for a load of blocks, rocks, etc. Space to put two drivers from another toy set.

I got this for my son, he just turned 1, for Christmas and he loves it. He lifts the bed up and down and pushes it everywhere. He has many of the tonka handle haulers, they are about the same size and he loves this one so much better. By far the best present he got for Christmas.

My great-nephew loved this truck. It would have been nice if it came with people as it already has the holes for them. If they weren't going to have them, they shouldn't have put the holes there.

These trucks are a great alternative to more expensive metal toys and other cheap plastic trucks. The big handles allow even little hands to operate them for maximum fun. My 3 yr. old grandson simply loves them. I would absolutely buy more of these quality trucks from this manufacturer.

Ordered this for my two year old grandson along with the front end loader and excavator for Christmas. He loves his dump truck - fills it with his little cars. They seem very sturdy and smell nice!

23.) Great truck for little hands

My 18 month old son likes this truck a lot. It rolls well, and he has figured out how to use the rear swinging door. He's still too young to figure out the passenger compartment and the dumping action, but he'll grow into it. The truck seems sturdy and well built.

My one complaint is that the latch that releases the dumping action is touchy, and while I'd rather for now (because of my son's age) have it always shut, instead it seems to pop open on its own sometimes. I wish it had a better design for the latch. Other than that, and it is a small quibble, I really like it.

I was skeptical at first but my2 year old on LOVES this dump truck. It is lightweight and easy to roll. There are a few pulls that allow the truck to dump from 2 areas. We love that it is 100% recycled milk jug plastic and made in USA. We also bought the crane and the front loader. you have to get the set haha... note: there is a space for the driver (and none included) but my son has various characters to put in there and doesn't seem to care either way.

I bought this for a nephew's Christmas present. He really likes it, but the packaging it comes in is pretty flimsy. It is just the truck attached to a small piece of cardboard with no wrapping whatsoever. I wish it had shrinkwrap or something to protect it until it is opened up. So giving it as a gift, it looks like I already opened it prior to giftwrapping it. So you may want to think twice if you intend to wrap it yourself as a gift.

27.) Looks durable - but odd material

I ordered this truck for a Christmas stocking for the son of a prisoner in the county detention center - one of many filled as part of a Rotary project, so I have no idea how the gift was received. It did appear durable, and I like the idea of minimal packaging. However, the "eco-plastic" is both a bit rough and mottled with a brownish hue - not the clear yellow it appeared to be in the picture on the web site. It looks a bit dirty from a distance.

The toy does appear durable, and if I'd ordered it for a grandchild old enough to understand the benefit of recycling and not filling dumps with packaging materials, I would have been happy to give it. However, I can't help but wonder if the child who received it might have been more impressed with a flimsier, cheaper, bright plastic truck from Walmart.

We loved this truck initially. Fun, cute, lots of levers. It was a great xmas present. Now it's mid January, and my 4 yr old tried to drive it (lean and push around the house) and I guess put too much weight on it (all 36 lbs of her) and a piece in the middle cracked. Now it doesn't dump and its not as much fun. Meanwhile, the Little Tykes truck we got at a yard sale still looks brand new and has survived the same treatment for 2 years. Disappointed since I really WANT to love it.

I was looking for a big dumptruck for my newphew. I purchased this one b/c I liked how it was environmental and eco-friendly. When it arrived, I was a little disappointed at how small and "plastic-y" it was. I think I was expecting something more substantial. It just wasn't as great of quality as I hoped for.

I purchased this truck for our grandson for Christmas. When it arrived I was alittle disappointed as to how small the actual truck was. The truck itself is made nice, is durable, has no sharp edges & our grandson seems to enjoy playing with it but I feel it was a bit too high in price for the size of this toy.

We ordered two dump trucks and the front loader for my [...] and [...] nephews and niece. We liked the eco-friendly/green toy idea but these trucks did not deliver in interest or fun. The overall look and quality of these trucks appeared cheap and flimsy and not at all what I was expecting. The size of these were also smaller than anticipated. With a plethora of other trucks on the toy market the discernible buyer would probably be better off with another selection; as for myself, next time, I'll stick with Tonka.

The toy itself overall isn't bad really. My biggest complaint is the size. I guess I should have looked at the dimensions closer instead of judging it by the picture. When we got it, I would have to say I was somewhat disappointed. I would have shipped it back if I didn't want to waste time and money doing so. My son doesn't play with it a whole lot and I think it is because it is so small. The quality of plastic itself isn't bad though, nice toy other than size.
